BIOGRAPHY
Dr. Wood is originally from Toronto, Canada and has called Birmingham, AL his home for the past 30 years. In 1993, he graduated from Texas Chiropractic college in Pasadena, Tx and has been serving the health care needs of Jefferson County for multiple decades. He maintains his board certification from the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners.
In addition to the national board certification, he has broadened his skills and specialty in becoming certified in the Cox Flexion – Distraction technique, Activator technique, Spinal impairment, Disability, and IME review.
Dr. Wood is also an athlete and a 2x time gold medalist for Canadian National Water ski team! Dr. Wood is a member of the American Chiropractic Associations, Alabama State Chiropractic Association. During his career, he was voted, Best Chiropractor of the Year” by the Alabama State Chiropractic Association.
