Dr. Hicks completed his orthopedic residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2022 and went on to pursue a fellowship in Complex and Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery at Swedish Hospital in Seattle, Washington, which he completed in 2023.
Dr. Hicks is licensed to practice in both Alabama and Washington and holds certifications in Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Basic Life Support (BLS).
